About two years ago the issue of human trafficking was presented to me. Since then, the idea of human trafficking and the thought that sex slaves exist has never left my heart. It is for this reason that the number one item on my bucket list is to see someone freed from human trafficking and/or forced prostitution.
Ever since I woke up in the hospital with an IV in my arm after an endoscopy in the 4th grade, I have had this gigantic phobia of needles. The funny thing is, I find no other idea of health or hospitals disgusting. In fact, I find surgery fascinating, but the thoughts of any needle touching my skin, makes me squirm. I have always wanted to donate blood at a blood drive, but this phobia has keep me from doing so. I would like to overcome this fear of needles and donate blood, before the end of college.
So far, I have been out of the country three times and I always have one rule when visiting a different country and that is; never say no to something different (especially food). I have always had an interest in different types of food, art, and culture and I would like to experience as many different culture as possible before I die. That is why visiting every continent, besides Antarctica, is the next item on my bucket list.
For 10 years or so, I participated in mixed martial arts (MMA). In the 8th grade, tested for and received my adult black belt in both taekwondo and hapkido. After training in taekwondo, hapkido, karate, judo, jujutsu, sambo, kickboxing, muy thai, and eskrima as well as teaching different martial art classes, I left martial arts in order to focus on school and my studies. Sometime in the future I would like to return to martial arts and begin teaching classes again.
It is not uncommon to for us as humans to have an attraction to dangerous activities. There is something about the adrenaline running through our veins that attracts us to these activities. With that said, there are three items on my bucket list that I have categorized in this area, and they are bungee jumping, skydiving, and wing-suiting.
Another big item on my bucket list is, to help someone else complete a bucket list item. I believe this is a great, unique item on my bucket list. I have always loved helping others and I believe this item takes that notion up a notch.

Reflection:
Since I have entered college, I have been constantly asking myself; what direction am I going in? Growing up we all had the same objectives, go to elementary, middle, and high school and graduate, but once we graduate high school we are left wondering; what now? Many of us (myself included) find themselves completely directionless. Though my bucket list is not my career plan or a play by play book of my life, it is something that can answer the question; what now? I have also noticed that it can help us identify with our personality and desires. Since researching some of my bucket list item, I have come to better understand myself and I also have something planned for the “what now” times.
